About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at 2548141 ALBERTA LTD. as a key member of our decorative finishes team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to the desired colour and texture, and apply it to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Wall Covering Expertise: Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, providing expert advice on colours and choice of wall coverings.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, ensuring accurate planning and execution.
  • Health and Safety: Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging, maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
