Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings to create a seamless finish.
  • Paint Mixing and Application: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply it to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Wall Covering Installation: Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, ensuring a precise fit.
  • Color Consultation: Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings to enhance the aesthetic appeal of their space.
  • Scaffolding and Rigging: Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging to ensure safe access to work areas.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan work schedules to meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
