About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Bittersweetsymphony Ltd. as a Pastry Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of pastries, cakes, and breads for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough and batters for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to perfection.
  • Prepare special orders for customers.
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to a high standard.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Organize and maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies.
Requirements
  • Will train on our equipment and systems.
