Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at 2751014 Ontario Inc.. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for baking and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation: Create dough for various baked goods including pies, bread, rolls, and pastries, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, following established recipes or specific customer requests.
  • Inventory Management: Order and manage necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure smooth operations.
  • Baking: Bake a variety of doughs and batters to perfection.
  • Special Orders: Accommodate and prepare special requests from customers.
  • Supervision: Oversee the baking team and kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and quality.
  • Decoration: Frost and embellish cakes and other baked items to enhance their presentation.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all products meet established quality standards through regular inspections.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate baking machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Manage the display and sale of baked goods to maximize customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a baking role.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
