About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team at Mario's Kitchen. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Excellent oral communication
  • Organized
  • Ability to multitask
  • Efficiency
