Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Delight Indian Bistro Ltd. as a key member of our culinary team.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and kitchen assistants.
  • Develop and implement menus, ensuring they are creative, appealing, and meet customer demands.
  • Source and manage inventory, including food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
