Job Title: Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Beach Grove Golf Club (1960) Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food service.
  • Monitor food costs, inventory, and quality control to maintain high standards.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu items and specials.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment in the kitchen.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent position.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree an asset.
