Job Title: Director of Facilities Management

Bechtel, a global engineering, construction, and project management company, seeks an experienced Director of Facilities Management to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of strategic safety and health programs, ensuring compliance with client, provincial, and federal requirements.

About the Role:

This position requires extensive experience in managing large, complex infrastructure projects in Canada. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field and 13-15 years of relevant experience or 17-19 years of relevant work experience. Industry certification through an organization accredited for credentialing ES&H practitioners is also desired.

Responsibilities:

  • Development and implementation of strategic safety and health programs, tools, and initiatives in compliance with client, provincial, and federal requirements.
  • Collaboration with Department Leads to ensure safety and health programs and initiatives are proactive, effective, and aligned with project goals.
  • Fostering working relationships with Supply Chain members to ensure proactive engagement, initiatives, and appropriate risk mitigation techniques are deployed.
  • Interpretation, analysis, and trending of safety and health performance data and provision of bespoke, feasible solutions that align with this analysis and promote positive safety and health performance.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in managing large, complex infrastructure projects in Canada.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
  • Industry certification through an organization accredited for credentialing ES&H practitioners (e.g., CSP, CRSP, CMIOSH).

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include a comprehensive health insurance package, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
