As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing market analysis and forecasting models to support business growth and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a team of 10 people, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop a 10-year industry forecast for new aircraft, Certified Pre-Owned aircraft, Defense, and Aftermarket, accurately determining market share for each category.
- Share competitive and customer insights and market intelligence across the organization, informing business strategies and decisions.
- Carry out market analysis to support various teams and departments within Bombardier, providing actionable insights to drive business growth.
- Analyze business jet market trends across business cycles, identifying opportunities and challenges.
- Generate sales leads for the Aftermarket and Certified Pre-Owned teams, driving revenue growth.
- Maintain key databases, reports, and dashboards for the business, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Represent Bombardier at key industry events, promoting the company's brand and expertise.
- Lead marketing research projects and support business cases for the launch of new aircraft, products, and services.
- Provide pricing recommendations to the leadership team, ensuring informed decision-making.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators of the industry, identifying areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- At least 10 years of relevant working experience, with a strong background in market analysis and forecasting.
- More than 5 years of experience in people management, with a proven track record of successful team leadership.
- Rigorous, persistent, innovative, detail-oriented, and people-focused, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Solid statistical analysis and economic modeling skills, with the ability to build forecasting models.
- Expertise in using the MS Office suite, including Access and Excel, with knowledge of statistical software (SAS, SPSS, STATA, R, etc.) and BI software (PowerBI, Alteryx, etc.).
- Aviation industry experience and product knowledge, with a strong understanding of macroeconomics and geopolitical context.
- Bilingual (French and English) with the ability to relocate to Montreal, Canada.
