Nurse Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Nurse Next Door. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality care to clients in their homes and community settings, creating Happier Aging experiences that promote independence and well-being.
- Review and implement care plans, ensuring accurate records and effective communication with clients and their families.
- Utilize technology and applications to ensure proper communication and documentation of client care.
- Collaborate with Care Designers to identify opportunities to elevate client experiences and care.
- Meet safety standards and practice competently within the job description.
- 1 year of previous home care experience, with a focus on activities of daily living, wound care, and chronic disease management.
- Active practicing acute nursing skills, including immunization, community IVs, and chronic disease management.
- Up-to-date CPR Certificate and First Aid.
- Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses and 1 year of recent related experience in gerontological nursing.
- Negative TB Test completed within the last 2 years.
- Minimum 1 year LPN/RN experience, with home health care experience an asset.
- Valid driver's license and car required.
