The Customer Engagement TeamWe're a collaborative and agile team that works closely with various departments, including marketing, finance, and IT. Our goal is to provide an exceptional customer experience by anticipating and addressing their needs.
As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to drive a customer-centric spirit and champion the customer experience across all channels.
Key Responsibilities- Meet monthly sales targets
- Respond to high volumes of online opportunities and incoming calls
- Closing sales via telephone and online leads
- Provide prompt and professional responses to client inquiries
- Analyze and recommend coverage to clients with the highest level of integrity
- Ensure adherence to internal and external underwriting rules, regulations, and procedures
- Provide cross-sell and upsell recommendations to existing clientele
- Collect expiry dates on other lines of business from existing clientele
- Stay up-to-date on various insurance providers' underwriting rules and product features
- Be knowledgeable and proficient on various insurer company portals
- Respond to insurance company underwriters in a timely manner
- Participate in training initiatives
We're looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual with:
- Post-secondary education and/or equivalent on-the-job experience
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in sales (including both inbound and outbound)
- RIBO licensed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with computer applications - SalesForce and Compuquote
- A high level of integrity and excellent work ethic
- Effective sales skills through needs-based selling and asking for the sale
- A high energy, results-oriented individual with a proven track record in sales
- The ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- The ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands independently
- The ability to work individually as well as part of a team
