Accounts Payable Clerk Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at Sonova. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for processing daily emails and AP related mail, coding invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and communicating with vendors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process daily emails and AP related mail in a timely and accurate manner
  • Coding of all standard invoices and assigning to applicable department for approval
  • Reconcile vendor statements to balances in vendor ledgers
  • Apply entries in vendor ledgers and posting adjusting journal entries
  • Process cheque payments and maintain meticulous organization of payable related documents
  • Communicate with vendors and external/internal stakeholders to resolve payable related issues
Requirements
  • Accurate and efficient data entry skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to build and maintain working relationships with stakeholders, internally and externally
  • Excellent time management skills and capacity to prioritize by assessing situations to determine urgency
  • Discretion due to involvement with confidential information
  • Minimum Grade 12 education and previous Accounts Payable experience
