Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nordic Operations Supervisor to join our team at Mount Washington Alpine Resort. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Nordic lessons, tours, programs, and rental areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and support to staff members, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of our Nordic lessons, tours, programs, and rental areas, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality guest experiences.
  • Staff Management: Manage staff schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and provide coaching and training to ensure staff are equipped to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Guest Service: Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring that all necessary supplies and equipment are available to support our operations.
  • Financial Management: Manage cash handling, process sales transactions, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with staff, management, and guests, ensuring clear and concise information is shared to support our operations.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve operational issues, ensuring minimal disruption to our guests and staff.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary education in a related field, such as Tourism, Hospitality, or Business Administration.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to deliver exceptional results. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Certifications: Possession of any relevant certifications, such as First Aid or CPR.
