About the Role:

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Revit BIM Modeler to support our Critical Infrastructure team in delivering complex infrastructure projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing BIM strategies, creating 3D models, and ensuring seamless coordination with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain 3D models using Revit, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve clashes, and ensure model integrity.
  • Extract 2D geometry from 3D models for internal reviews and coordination meetings.
  • Prepare BIM package submissions, including models, drawings, and reports, in accordance with project standards.
  • Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs to ensure model accuracy and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain Revit families and objects, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM tools and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Revit and BIM implementation.
  • Expert knowledge of Revit, including parametric modeling, Bill of Materials, and assemblies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with BIM authoring, scripting, design review, coordination, simulations, and collaboration platforms.
  • Knowledge of BIM codes and standards, including ISO19650 and PAS1192-2.
  • Experience with rail projects and knowledge of General BIM Model requirements.
