Transportation Modelling Specialist

Our team works on a wide range of projects including transportation master plan studies, business case assessments, transit ridership forecasting, transportation policy studies, active transportation planning and design projects, environmental assessments for transportation facilities, and transportation study peer reviews.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement transportation models using EMME and VISUM
  • Analyse data to inform transportation planning and policy decisions
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver transportation solutions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree or greater in Civil Engineering with a strong emphasis on transportation and statistical analysis
  • 6+ years of experience in travel demand forecasting using EMME and VISUM
Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Masters or PhD degree in Transportation with an emphasis on transportation modelling
  • 10+ years of experience with advanced transportation modelling
  • Experience in computer programming languages (e.g. VBA, SQL, Python, C/C++) and EMME macro language
  • Experience with AIMSUN, TransCAD, CUBE, VISSIM, Synchro/SimTraffic, ARCADY, SIDRA
