High profile Canadian retailer seeks experienced interim Divisional VP to cover maternity leave. As the interim leader, you will oversee teams responsible for Total Rewards & Performance, Payroll and HRIS.

About This Opportunity

This is an immediate opportunity to join our client as an interim Divisional Vice President - Total Rewards. You will be responsible for leading a talented team of total rewards professionals who serve as designers and consultants to the business on Total Rewards (compensation, benefits, pension, perks, etc.).

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as key expert related to Executive Pay and Pension
  • Champion competitive position, maintain overall costs, and execute on programs on behalf of employees, leaders and executives
  • Champion and oversee main users of the Workday system and HRIS related activities
  • Execution of pay actions within Workday on behalf of leaders and employees
  • Refresh store commission programs to support and drive Full Price Sales and Refresh bonus programs to drive and reward Pay for Performance philosophy
  • HR Technology enablement by leading Workday optimization strategy, JIRA rollout and adoption strategy, and supporting successful Time & Attendance Project as it relates to Payroll execution
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Commerce and/or Human Resource designation preferred
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation an asset
  • ~10+ years' experience in executive and employee compensation, executive incentive plan design and administration
  • ~ Expertise in Benefits, Pension, Payroll and HRIS (Workday preferred)
  • ~ Deep analytical capability with advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
  • ~ Ability to span business needs with technical concepts and present compelling point of view with an executive audience
  • ~ Experience managing projects and executing processes and ensuring compliance with policy, legal and administrative requirements
Salary

The estimated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
