Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Rewards Development Manager to join our team at Yorkville University. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, implementation, and administration of the total rewards programs.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the transformation of the Canadian post-secondary education landscape. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Act as a subject matter expert in employee benefits programs, including group insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives
• Champion communications by developing and distributing materials to educate employees about their benefits options
• Develop and implement wellness programs promoting physical, mental, and financial well-being
• Oversee compensation, managing salary structures, job evaluations, and annual merit reviews
• Use data and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of total rewards programs
• Collaborate with the Chief People Officer to develop a comprehensive total rewards strategy

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:
1. Comprehensive expertise in benefits, including experience with strategic projects and process planning
2. Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new systems and technologies easily
3. Strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and passion for learning and growth
4. Ability to work collaboratively beyond levels, prioritizing and nurturing an inclusive and supportive work environment

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards. Yorkville University offers a comprehensive compensation package, including benefits, wellness programs, and professional development opportunities.
