LHH Knightsbridge is seeking a seasoned Strategic Interim Leader to drive excellence in Total Rewards for a prominent Canadian retailer.

As an interim leader, you will oversee the teams responsible for Total Rewards & Performance, Payroll, and HRIS. Your expertise will guide the development of compensation, benefits, pension, and perks strategies that align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a key expert on executive pay and pension matters
  • Championing competitive positioning, maintaining overall costs, and executing programs on behalf of employees, leaders, and executives
  • Overseeing main users of the Workday system and HRIS-related activities
  • Executing pay actions within Workday on behalf of leaders and employees
  • Refreshing store commission programs to support Full Price Sales and bonus programs to drive Pay for Performance philosophy
  • Leading Workday optimization strategy, JIRA rollout, and adoption strategy, as well as supporting successful Time & Attendance Project as it relates to Payroll execution

We are looking for a professional with:

  • Bachelor of Commerce and/or Human Resource designation preferred
  • ~ Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation an asset
  • ~10+ years' experience in executive and employee compensation, executive incentive plan design, and administration
  • ~ Expertise in Benefits, Pension, Payroll, and HRIS (Workday preferred)
  • ~ Deep analytical capability with advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
  • ~ Ability to span business needs with technical concepts and present compelling point of view with an executive audience
  • ~ Experience managing projects and executing processes, ensuring compliance with policy, legal, and administrative requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Total Rewards principles and have experience driving strategic initiatives. We offer a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $220,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth.
