**Job Summary**

Giant Tiger is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team in Hagersville, ON. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the checkout area and surrounding merchandise.
  • Support the sales process, including processing transactions, handling customer inquiries, and resolving issues.
  • Replenish merchandise around the checkout area and ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Ensure health and safety policies and guidelines are followed, including proper use of equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Support loss prevention efforts, including monitoring store activity and reporting any incidents or concerns.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures related to the sale of tobacco and lottery products.

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include standing and/or walking for extended periods, bending, twisting, and squatting. You will also be required to lift and/or move up to 18 kg (40 lbs) and perform tasks involving firm grasping and repetitive hand motions.

Working Conditions

This role requires working in a retail environment with frequent exposure to cash handling, customer interactions, and physical activity. You will be required to work a mix of day shifts, evenings, and weekends, with a typical full-time schedule consisting of 35-40 hours weekly and a typical part-time schedule consisting of up to 24 hours weekly.
