Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field and Infusion Nurse (RPN/LPN or RN) to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to patients in their homes and specialty clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer Medications: Safely and effectively administer medications (IV, IM, and SC) to patients in their homes or specialty clinics.
  • Monitor Patient Care: Continuously monitor post-injection/infusion treatments and chart and report on all activities as directed by program protocols.
  • Patient Education: Provide patient education based on program protocols, individually or in groups, to ensure patients understand their treatment plans and can manage their conditions effectively.
  • Coordination and Communication: Coordinate daily with patients, case managers, physicians, and other departments to meet established timelines for scheduling appointments, treatments, and communication of information.
  • Professional Development: Participate regularly in telephone consultations and/or web-based meetings/training sessions with the District Manager to share information, and uphold professional practice standards.
  • Client Relationships: Consult with physicians, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology clients regarding education and implementation of product-specific programs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing oversight and delegation of applicable tasks to RPN/LPN as authorized by provincial college of nurses.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform related duties and tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified registered nurse (valid provincial license from the College of Nurses).
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with 1 year of regular IV initiation and infusion experience.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook (e-mail), and MS Word. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Effective interpersonal and leadership skills. Effective organizational skills; attention to detail. Ability to consistently meet deadlines. Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Additional Requirements: Hold and maintain a valid, non-expired, unrestricted driver's license.
