Transportation Modeller Job Description

AECOM is seeking a talented Graduate Transportation Modeller to join our team in Markham, ON, Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct transportation studies and analyses to inform project decisions
  • Develop and manage content for presentations, reports, and proposals
  • Research industry best practices and stay up-to-date with the latest transportation modelling techniques
  • Collaborate with a team of transportation engineers, planners, and designers to assess transportation conditions
  • Attend project team meetings and contribute to project deliverables

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Transportation Engineering or Planning
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills
  • Knowledge of transport modelling software packages (e.g. EMME, VISUM, VISSIM)
  • Experience with computer programming languages (e.g. VBA, SQL, Python)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
