Job Title: Business Development Manager

Synopsis:

SGS Digicomply is a cutting-edge online tool that empowers the Food & Beverage industry to navigate and comply with regulations and standards. As a key player in the SGS SA ecosystem, we're committed to harnessing technology to elevate the industry's safety, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.

As our Business Development Manager for North America, you will spearhead the development and execution of our sales strategy to penetrate the North American market, drive revenue growth, and increase market share.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for North America, leveraging your expertise in the industry and customer relationships.
  2. Identify and attract new customers, while increasing the spend of existing clients through exceptional customer experience and industry knowledge.
  3. Collaborate with marketing and demand generation teams to identify prospective clients and develop targeted campaigns.
  4. Build strong relationships with SGS Digicomply technical teams and global business development teams to drive sales opportunities and customer satisfaction.
  5. Monitor and enhance the overall customer experience, ensuring seamless communication and timely issue resolution.
  6. Represent SGS Digicomply at industry conferences and networking events, showcasing our expertise and thought leadership.
  7. Work closely with product managers to influence the innovation roadmap, ensuring our solutions meet evolving customer needs.

Requirements:

  1. 10-15 years of experience in business development, preferably in the SAAS solutions space for consumer goods, process manufacturing, food and beverages, retail, and distribution.
  2. Expertise in digital marketing, consulting, business and partner development, business and systems consulting, business process redesign, and client relationship management at the executive level.
  3. Proven track record of marketing SAAS solutions in the US market.
  4. Exceptional selling and networking skills, with a demonstrated ability to create compelling business cases for each prospect.
  5. A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer care and a willingness to innovate and adapt to changing market conditions.
