Parts Operations Manager

Brandt is seeking a highly skilled Parts Operations Manager to lead our Peterborough Construction & Forestry location's parts department. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and inventory management skills to maximize returns on investment through optimizing departmental processes.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Oversee all aspects of parts inventory within our parts system, ensuring accurate tracking and efficient storage.
- Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize parts department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction, driving growth in profitable parts sales.
- Team Leadership: Lead a high-performing parts team through hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, and performance management in a safe environment.
- Expense Control: Exercise disciplined expense control to maintain a lean and efficient parts operation.
- Customer Service: Ensure superior external and internal parts customer service through staff scheduling to cover business hours.
- Supply Chain Management: Work with product support and manufacturing groups to source and stock internally manufactured product parts.
- Business Planning: Develop an annual parts sales business plan and budget to include support to other Brandt branches.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with the Sales departments to maximize cross-marketing opportunities.
- Leadership Experience: Previous leadership experience in a parts department is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of general parts and warehouse procedures, strong oral and written communication skills, and analytical thinking with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Education and Certifications: HD Journeyman Partsperson ticket is considered preferred, and warehouse management experience is considered an asset.
