Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Kingsway Medical Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the flow of information, interviewing patients, and scheduling appointments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the flow of information and maintain accurate records
  • Interview patients to obtain case histories and maintain confidentiality
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, and train staff in procedures and software
  • Complete insurance and claim forms, and maintain filing systems
  • Order supplies and maintain inventory, and determine office procedures and routines
  • Enter and format medical reports and correspondence, and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review
  • Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records, and perform data entry
  • Provide exceptional customer service and work collaboratively with the team

Requirements

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a medical office setting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Proficiency in software and technology

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced medical office environment, with a team of professionals dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 40 hours per week.
