Administrative Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Kingsway Medical Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the flow of information, interviewing patients, and scheduling appointments.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the flow of information and maintain accurate records
- Interview patients to obtain case histories and maintain confidentiality
- Schedule and confirm appointments, and train staff in procedures and software
- Complete insurance and claim forms, and maintain filing systems
- Order supplies and maintain inventory, and determine office procedures and routines
- Enter and format medical reports and correspondence, and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review
- Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records, and perform data entry
- Provide exceptional customer service and work collaboratively with the team
Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a medical office setting
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficiency in software and technology
Work Environment
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced medical office environment, with a team of professionals dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 40 hours per week.
