Job Description

In collaboration with inventory management and logistics teams, you will insert required mini markets (kanban) into production cells and oversee their maintenance. This involves adjusting parameters in Oracle ERP management systems and monitoring key performance indicators (KPI).

You will work closely with existing teams and in compliance with division policies and procedures. Your responsibilities will include reviewing new mini market requirements, prioritizing implementations to ensure stock availability, acting as a contact for manufacturing and assembly cells, industrial engineering, and logistics, fostering clear communication among parties, and ensuring follow-up.

You will also evaluate business needs on an ongoing basis and make the required adjustments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a college diploma or Bachelor of Business Administration degree (operations and production management option), industrial engineering, or equivalent. Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment is an asset, as is knowledge of sourcing, Material Resource Planning (MRP) software, and in-house software.

You should have excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills and knowledge of MRP and various manufacturing processes. Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and excellent team spirit, good communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are also essential.

Bilingualism is required.
