About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Financial Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing current inventory management processes and recommending efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and improve inventory management processes;
  • Owning the month-end inventory accounting process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and preparation of inventory-related reports;
  • Monitoring CRM error reports related to inventory and coordinating with relevant teams to resolve discrepancies;
  • Responding to inventory-related inquiries from clinics through a ticketing system, providing timely and accurate support;
  • Assisting in the preparation and analysis of inventory budgets and forecasts;
  • Preparing reports on inventory levels, turnover, and other KPIs, such as CPE (cost per eye);
  • Validating and executing item creation in accordance with our Inventory Policy;
  • Assisting the Inventory Manager with the annual fixed asset counts;
  • Contributing to various ad hoc projects and analyses as required by the finance department;

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst specializing in inventory management;
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline;
  • Experience working in a flexible, fast-paced environment;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects;
  • Advanced Excel and/or financial modeling skills;
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French;
  • Prior experience in the health industry and multi-entity companies is an asset;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision and Solver BI360 is also an asset.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year;
  • Flexible hours to balance work and life;
  • Three weeks of vacation, four personal days, three additional days during the Holiday season, and Friday afternoons off during the summer;
  • A group RRSP with an employer contribution and an annual performance bonus.
