About the Role


At Marriott International, we're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our warehouse operations, you'll be responsible for receiving and staging merchandise, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and maintaining a safe working environment.



Key Responsibilities



  • Receive and stage merchandise by department, ensuring accurate labeling and storage
  • Monitor inventory levels, complete requisition forms, and notify management of low stock
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, adhering to food safety and handling policies
  • Inspect deliveries for damage or quality issues, refusing acceptance when necessary
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management


Requirements



  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related work experience preferred
  • Able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks as needed
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures a plus


Benefits and Salary


We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, along with comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
