Care Team Assistant

Nova Scotia Health is seeking a Care Team Assistant to provide direct, hands-on care to patients in a collaborative care team environment. The successful candidate will support patients' activities of daily living and reinforce patient and family teaching. Key responsibilities include listening effectively, communicating verbally and in writing, and demonstrating competencies in other languages (French preferred). A Continuing Care Assistant Program certification and current Basic Life Support Certification are required. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $23.71 - $25.70 and a comprehensive benefits package. The work schedule is 37.5 hours bi-weekly as a permanent part-time employee.
