Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Continuing Care Assistant to join our team at Laurel's Lake Residence Inc. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist patients with daily activities, such as feeding and toileting
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff
  • Assist with medication administration and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in patient care planning and implementation
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Basic security clearance
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
