We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc.
Job SummaryThe Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes supervising sales workers, hiring and training staff, ordering merchandise, and preparing reports on sales volumes and personnel matters.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
- Order merchandise and maintain inventory
- Establish work schedules and ensure that tasks are completed on time
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests and supply shortages
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
