Job Summary:

The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise and train staff to ensure they are meeting performance expectations and providing excellent customer service.
  • Assign Duties: Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Hire and Train New Employees: Hire and train new employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job duties.
  • Maintain Inventory: Maintain inventory levels and ensure that all merchandise is properly stocked and displayed.
  • Resolve Issues: Resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 35 hours per week.
Work Environment:

The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a high level of customer interaction. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
