Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Upside Down Convenience Store.
Job Summary:The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, hiring and training new staff, and maintaining inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of workers, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, and manage a team of sales workers, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, ordering merchandise as needed and authorizing returns.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, resolving issues and answering questions in a professional and courteous manner.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 32 to 35 hours per week.
The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
