Job Title: Regional Sales Director for Material Handling

We are seeking an experienced Territory Manager to join our team at Brandt in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This role will specialize in the sale of new and used material handling equipment within a designated area of responsibility.

Salary & Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous retirement savings plan.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sell both new and used material handling equipment within the designated Area Of Responsibility (AOR).
  2. Travel across entire AOR to effectively cover all current and prospect-account locations.
  3. Bond with existing and new customers by:
  • Growing our share of our existing customer base's wallet spend
  • Acquiring new customers
  • Identifying Key Strategic Customers (existing & new), and executing a growth plan
  • Building strong relationships
Maintain current on customers' business activities and needs.Prepare and maintain customer status reports including (but not limited to):
  • Sales call activities
  • Customer Lists (both current and prospect accounts)
Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies for your AOR.Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry models.Complete all sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner.Manage travel requirements and expenses in a timely manner.Other projects/duties as required.Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and goal-driven individual with a proven ability to build and grow sales in a defined territory.
  • Familiarity with the Material Handling industry, having spent some time working in or servicing it.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Able to travel throughout the assigned area of responsibility (AOR).
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and recent driver's abstract.
  • Possess and maintain a valid passport and be available to travel internationally.
  • Being bilingual (English & French) is considered an asset.
