Comprehensive Patient Care Specialist

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides comprehensive patient care to patients/residents/clients in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care while recognizing and fulfilling their professional responsibilities by practicing within the scope of practice of the Licensed Practical Nurses Act.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients/residents/clients in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Recognize and fulfill professional responsibilities by practicing within the scope of practice of the Licensed Practical Nurses Act.
- Maintain relevant competencies for the position as offered by Prairie Mountain Health.
- Active practicing licensure with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM), or eligible for active practicing licensure with the CLPNM.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Training as delineated in Prairie Mountain Health Policy PPG-00002 CPR Training.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider (P) and Renewal (R).
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Provider and Recertification.
- Candidate must have demonstrated organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Candidate must have demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to perform duties on a regular basis.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$80,000 based on industry standards and location.
