Nutrition Services Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Nutrition Services Specialist - Facility Based to join our team at Prairie Mountain Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide nutritional care and counseling for patients, residents, and clients.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments to identify patients' dietary needs.
- Develop, monitor, and revise individualized nutrition care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education on healthy eating habits, disease management, and wellness strategies to patients, families, and caregivers.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based nutrition policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and health outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Ecology or a related field.
- Registration as a Dietitian with the College of Dietitians of Manitoba.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
This is a full-time position working within our facility-based clinical dietitian team. The successful candidate will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
SalaryThe estimated salary range for this position is between $65,000 to $85,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
