Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for practicing in accordance with the Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses and Registered Psychiatric Nurses, as well as the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients/residents/clients in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Degree in Nursing (RPN or RN)
- Current registration with the CRNM (College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba) or CRPNM (College of Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Training
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider and Renewal
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Provider and Recertification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider and Renewal
- Satisfactory employment record required
- An estimated salary of $76,000 - $93,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.

The successful applicant may be eligible for an annual full-time incentive of up to $2,000 until 2024 as per MOU #31 of the current MNU Collective Agreement.
