Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

ONTARIO INC. is seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Establish and manage work schedules to ensure optimal store coverage and productivity.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our sales team, providing guidance and support as needed.
Work Environment:

Our retail store operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. You will be expected to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout your shift.

Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail or customer-facing role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work a variety of shifts and schedules.
