Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Specialist to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing and advancing our manufacturing processes through automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of automated systems to enhance production efficiency and ensure product quality
  • Analyze current systems and workflows to identify opportunities for automation
  • Design, develop, and implement advanced automation systems tailored for technical apparel manufacturing
  • Partner with equipment suppliers and integrators on trial automation to improve quality and productivity of current manufacturing process
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering specializing in mechanical or mechatronics
  • 5+ years of experience in related field
  • Proven experience as an automation engineer or in a similar role, showcasing hands-on expertise in developing and implementing automations
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and common troubleshooting techniques, with a commitment to safety and quality standards
  • 3+ years of experience working in an apparel or outdoor equipment manufacturing facility with sound knowledge of garment or equipment construction
Compensation:

$91,000 - $114,000 per year. A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$91,000 - CAD$114,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
