About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at River View Hotel. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of our housekeeping team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect and Maintain Standards: Conduct regular inspections of our rooms and public areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Recommend and Arrange Services: Identify areas where additional services are required, such as painting, repairs, or replacement of furnishings and equipment, and arrange for these services to be carried out.
  • Assist with Cleaning Duties: Assist our cleaning staff with their duties as needed, ensuring that all areas of the hotel are kept clean and tidy.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage the work schedules for our housekeeping team, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Perform Light Housekeeping Duties: Perform light housekeeping duties as required, such as cleaning public areas and restocking supplies.
Requirements
  • Leadership and Supervision: Proven experience of supervising and leading a team, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, with the ability to identify areas where improvements can be made.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, with the physical stamina to perform the demands of the role.
