About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at River View Hotel. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance throughout our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Housekeeping Activities
    • Lead a team of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of hotel rooms and public areas.
  • Inspect and Maintain Hotel Facilities
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all hotel facilities, including rooms, corridors, and public areas, meet our high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Recommend and Arrange for Additional Services
    • Identify areas where additional services, such as painting or repair work, are required and arrange for these to be carried out.
  • Assist with Cleaning and Maintenance Duties
    • Assist housekeeping staff with cleaning and maintenance duties as required.
  • Establish Work Schedules
    • Develop and implement efficient work schedules to ensure that all housekeeping tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Perform Light Housekeeping and Cleaning Duties
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required, including emptying trash and restocking supplies.
Requirements
  • Leadership and Supervisory Experience
    • Proven experience of supervising and leading a team of housekeeping staff.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
  • Attention to Detail
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
