About this role: Hôtel & Spa Le Germain Charlevoix is seeking a dynamic Spa Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our spa department.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Schedule events, programs, and activities to ensure a smooth operation of the spa.
  2. Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to achieve our goals.
  3. Assist clients/guests with special needs, providing exceptional customer service.
  4. Be the point of contact for emergency situations, handling them promptly and professionally.
  5. Monitor quality and production levels to maintain the highest standards.
  6. Oversee the cleaning of specialty and difficult items, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  7. Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain our high standards.
  8. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  9. Supervise, coordinate, and schedule (and possibly review) the activities of workers.
  10. Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  11. Supervise office and volunteer staff to ensure a smooth operation.

Supervision: You will be responsible for supervising 3-4 people, including staff in various areas of responsibility.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with standing for extended periods.

Personal suitability: To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, be client-focused, efficient, flexible, and a team player.
