We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at the Nova Scotia Health Authority in Sydney. As a leading healthcare provider, we offer a unique opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the development of innovative mental health programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to children and adolescents, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Participate in program development and implementation, such as the behavior disorders and early psychosis intensive program.
- Offer consultations to other physicians and rural clinics, promoting best practices and improving patient outcomes.
- Contribute to teaching programs and activities, sharing expertise and knowledge with medical students and residents.
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
- Eligibility for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC).
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
We offer a competitive salary range of $250,000 - $300,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a dynamic work environment that values teamwork and collaboration.
