Job Description

The 401 Group of Companies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Sales and Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to drive sales growth.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of our product lines, including automotive, recreational vehicle, powersport, and marine products.
  • Financing and Insurance: Offer vehicle financing and insurance options to customers and provide them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties.
  • Service and Support: Provide customers with a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
  • Business Operations: Process cash, financing, and leasing deals accurately and secure approvals through financial sources sanctioned by management.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and report business office performance metrics.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a professional work environment and promote effective communication amongst dealership personnel.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure personnel are in compliance with dealership and corporate policies and procedures, as well as governmental and regulatory requirements.
  • Customer Complaint Resolution: Effectively resolve outstanding customer complaints.
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid G driver's license and have an acceptable driving record.
  • Industry Knowledge: Have a working knowledge of automotive sales and financing aspects.
  • Communication Skills: Possess strong communication skills and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Demonstrate a friendly attitude, positive team participation skills, and above-average computer skills.
