About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join AppleOne as a Compliance Analyst in our Hamilton office. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that our company's operations comply with relevant regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive compliance assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
- Evaluate and ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement effective risk management strategies.
- Administer our compliance management system to track and monitor progress.
- Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in compliance-related roles, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office.
- Able to understand technical documents and legal/regulatory reference materials.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $62,500 - $67,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Our benefits package includes paid sick leave, vacation days, RRSP contributions, annual bonuses, and continuing education opportunities.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time role requiring 3 days of work from home and 2 days in the office. May transition to full-time in-office work in the future. Full-time training will be provided for 6 weeks in the office.
