As a Commercial Banking Business Development Manager at BMO Financial Group, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding our client relationships.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional client experiences. You will be responsible for developing new business through prospecting, cross-selling, and upselling Bank products and services.

Your expertise in bank products, processes, and systems will enable you to provide high-quality support to clients, while your analytical skills will help you identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of solutions, and your deep knowledge of commercial banking will inform your recommendations and advice to clients.

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new business through prospecting, cross-selling, and upselling Bank products and services
  • Analyze financial and related data to determine client needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Provide expert advice on commercial banking products and services
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and implement strategies to drive results
Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of experience in commercial banking or a related field
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Deep knowledge of commercial banking products, processes, and systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
