We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Banking Executive to join our team in Edmonton. This role will be responsible for leading and achieving strategic business development objectives, building and maintaining a high-value portfolio of large, diversified commercial clients, and managing a portfolio of over $10M.

Job Description

The Commercial Banking Executive will lead all aspects of risk-reward parameters within acceptable levels towards achieving optimal business performance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Sales activation & business growth: Creating, implementing, and effecting an independent marketing plan to achieve sales & growth targets.
  • Client experience: Delivering outstanding client experiences at every interaction in line with CWB's brand promise.
  • Credit risk management: Applying risk assessment skills to ensure appropriate measures are put in place and risk assessment protocols and structures are implemented.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in commerce, finance, or accounting fields.
  • Six years' experience within commercial lending or related experience.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing successful sales strategies and actions in collaboration with partners.
  • Subject matter expert in the continuous improvement of sales processes & programs.
