About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager, Asset Management Planning and Performance to join our team at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). As a strategic leader, you will play a critical role in driving growth and performance within our division.

Job Summary

This senior leadership position is responsible for providing corporate-level direction and guidance to our division. You will lead the development and execution of the annual business plan, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Additionally, you will provide leadership and direction in the management and delivery of programs and services, focusing on establishing required programs, policies, and performance standards, as well as maintaining service levels.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the division, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives;
  • Develop and execute the annual business plan, collaborating with the management team to drive results;
  • Lead the development and implementation of programs and services, ensuring quality management and continuous improvement initiatives are integrated into operations;
  • Maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including WSIB leaders and employees, to assess and discuss business and organizational issues;
  • Act as a senior expert, providing functional leadership and technical expertise to Vice Presidents and Directors on matters related to professional areas of expertise;
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience;
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a workers' compensation or insurance environment;
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and performance through strategic planning and execution;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders;
  • A strong understanding of workplace safety and insurance principles, with experience in managing complex projects and teams.
