Job Title: Executive Chef

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Ontario Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and directing food preparation and cooking activities of several restaurants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Prepare and cook food on a regular basis or for special guests or functions.
  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities of several restaurants.
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Recruit and hire staff.
  • Supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience.

Work Environment:

  • Wet/damp.
  • Hot.
  • Cold/refrigerated.

Work Setting:

  • Restaurant.
