About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Business Partner to join our Talent Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for partnering with internal business units to support the achievement of operational and people objectives.

As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will provide advice and facilitation to leaders and employees on matters of employee relations, human resources planning, employee development, performance management, engagement, succession, employee wellbeing and employee experience.

You will build and utilize business knowledge to develop and improve people strategies in collaboration with business unit leaders. You will also collaborate with the recruiting team and other HR Business Partners to ensure that organization-wide recruitment needs and objectives are supported in a timely and effective manner.

Main Responsibilities
  • Partner with internal business units to support the achievement of operational and people objectives.
  • Provide advice and facilitation to leaders and employees on matters of employee relations, human resources planning, employee development, performance management, engagement, succession, employee wellbeing and employee experience.
  • Build and utilize business knowledge to develop and improve people strategies in collaboration with business unit leaders.
  • Collaborate with the recruiting team and other HR Business Partners to ensure that organization-wide recruitment needs and objectives are supported in a timely and effective manner.
  • Support the job evaluation process with leaders to provide education and advice on the development of job questionnaires and the job evaluation process.
  • Support the administration of disability, parental or other leaves in collaboration with other HR team members.
  • Lead or contribute to the development and implementation of our people programs to support our workplace culture and priorities in collaboration with other HR team members.
Must Have Qualifications
  • 5+ years of HR experience, including experience in business partnering, recruitment, talent management or learning and development.
  • University degree in a relevant discipline (or commensurate experience).
  • Experience in achieving business impact through HR strategies.
  • Experience building partnerships across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational, facilitation and client service skills.
  • Research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems.
  • Fluency in English and French (verbal and written).
