About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Beagle Pub. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing menus, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring exceptional food quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and specials in collaboration with our culinary team
  • Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of food quality and service
  • Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate prices for ingredients and equipment
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Chef in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Proven track record of successfully leading a kitchen team and delivering exceptional food quality
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field (an asset)
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team
